Rapid sequence induction (RSI) is the technique of endotracheal intubation to secure the airway of a patient rapidly and safely. It applies to virtually all attempts for endotracheal intubation (ET) in the emergency department (ED) except for arrest situations. Para Vertebral Space Injection (PVSI) is particularly preferred for ED use because of the simultaneous onset of sedation, paralysis and minimizing the risk of aspiration. After ABSTRACT
